Why join Ballance
This role sits at the centre of how Ballance manages and operates its asset-related workflows. You’ll help ensure accuracy, consistency, and operational confidence as the platform scales.
About Ballance
Ballance builds simple, controlled payment tools for individuals and organisations. We focus on removing friction from financial operations while maintaining transparency, security, and trust. Our products are designed to support responsible spending without adding unnecessary complexity.
About the role
As an Asset Operations Manager, you’ll own the day-to-day operational processes that support asset tracking, reporting, and internal controls. Your work ensures that asset-related data is reliable, workflows are well defined, and operational risks are identified early. You’ll partner closely with finance, data, and risk teams to keep systems running smoothly as volume and complexity increase.
Responsibilities
Own and maintain operational workflows related to asset tracking and reporting
Ensure accuracy and consistency across internal asset records
Coordinate with finance and risk teams on reconciliations and reviews
Support audits and internal control assessments
Identify gaps in existing processes and drive improvements
Document procedures clearly for internal stakeholders
What we’re looking for
Experience in financial or asset operations
Strong attention to detail and process discipline
Comfort working with structured data and reports
Ability to collaborate across finance, data, and compliance teams
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Working here
We work in small, focused teams with a high degree of ownership. Decisions are made thoughtfully, and we value clarity over speed for its own sake.
Compensation
Compensation is competitive and based on role scope, experience, and location. Full details are shared during the interview process.
Benefits
We offer flexible work arrangements, time off, and benefits designed to support long-term sustainability and focus.
What guides us
We believe good systems should be clear, dependable, and quietly effective. Our work prioritises trust, responsibility, and long-term thinking.
Our beliefs
Ballance is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or background.
